Forum Nokia Innovation Network


The Latin America's Forum Nokia Innovation Network center is based at Embedded Systems and Pervasive Computing Lab, Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). Forum Nokia Innovation Network activities at UFCG are managed by Dr. Angelo Perkusich and Dr. Hyggo Almeida. UFCG has been recognized as a center of competence on training, research and devlopment of embedded and mobile related technologies.
 
Areas of Expertise
Since 2004, the group has been working on training, development and research activities related to several topics within embedded systems and mobile computing areas. Such activities are developed through cooperation programs with Nokia Institute of Technology and Nokia do Brasil. Our areas of expertise include:
  • Devices: Nokia S60 and Internet Tablet devices
  • Operating Systems: Symbian and Linux
  • Programming languages: C/C++, J2ME, Python, Flash Lite, Open C, C++ for Symbian
  • Hardware platforms: OMAP
